Kennedy has 10 years of coaching experience across recreational youth, competitive club, high school, and collegiate soccer and holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) National B Coaching License. She began her coaching career following her collegiate playing career at Fullerton College from 2014–2016, where she served as team captain. Throughout her career, Kennedy has held several leadership positions, including Director of Coaching and Director of Operations for a National League program.

Kennedy is entering her sixth season at Beckman High School, where she has played an instrumental role in the continued growth and success of the Girls Soccer program. In 2022, she led the Frosh/Soph team to a League Championship before becoming the Varsity Head Coach for the 2022–2023 season, guiding the team to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 3 Playoffs. During the 2025–2026 season, Kennedy led the Varsity program to its first divisional promotion in 16 years and just the second in school history. As Head Coach, she oversees all three levels of the Beckman Girls Soccer program, focusing on building a unified program that promotes collaboration between teams, establishes a competitive standard at every level, and creates a strong, connected program culture.

In addition to her role at Beckman, Kennedy serves as the Girls Academy Manager at a local club, where she oversees administrative operations, scheduling, and coordination across the club's Girls Academy, GA Aspire, and DPL programs. She also coaches multiple competitive girls teams within the club. 

Pierre Sanjurjo aka "Coach P"
varsity assistant coach

Pierre Sanjurjo, also known as "Coach P," has been a dedicated member of the Beckman High School community since the school opened in 2004. Coach P has been actively involved in the school's athletic programs for over two decades. He currently leads Beckman's Flag Football program as Head Coach and has been a longtime member of the Girls Soccer coaching staff. His dedication to Beckman athletics reflects his passion for coaching, mentoring student-athletes, and contributing to the school's athletic success.

Coach P brings years of coaching experience, school pride, and a passion for working with student-athletes. He believes athletics provide valuable life lessons that extend far beyond the field, emphasizing accountability, responsibility, and teamwork.

Outside of coaching, Coach P enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to Katie Sanjurjo, an English teacher at Beckman High School, and together they have four sons: Justin, Orion, Isaac, and Casey. Their three oldest sons are proud Beckman graduates.
